Jai Jagadish Here! Jai Jagadish Hare!
Jaydev is going to visit Puri Jagannath once with his friend. They were passing through a forest. Jayadeva felt thirsty. No reservoirs were available. Finally, Jayadeva prayed to Lord Jagannath for water. The Lord appeared and quenched his thirst
Sai Baba Harichandra was quenching the thirst of his devotee Nana Saheb Chandkar in Gutta. Jayadeva thought of Brindavanam, Jayadeva thought of a tree called Kadamba, Yamuna, Krishna, Radha, Gopika. Then Gita Govindam came out of his mouth automatically.
Before reaching Puri, Jayadeva had a vision of ten incarnations of the Lord. He included it in the Gita Govindam as Jai Jagadish Hare He could not write a verse in Gita Govindam, and it stopped He tried hard but failed to comply. When Jaydev went out, the Lord himself came and finished Charanam as ‘Dehi Padapallava Mudram …’.
This kind of incident can also be found in the life of Potana when the poem was written ‘Baikuntha Pramul’.
Once Jaydev goes to the forest, he does not want to take revenge on the thieves who cut off his hands. Although the thieves were identified, he gave them gifts, and he prayed for the release of the thieves. O Lord you have freed the people of Kansa and Ravana after they became your enemies. So he prayed to God why you would not free these thieves That is a testament to his great heart
Once in Puri the Lord’s clothes were torn The reason for this was not even known to the king and the priests They prayed to the Lord. The Lord visited the garden where Gita Govindam was sung by someone. Then the clothes were torn because of the thorns, the Lord said Then everyone realized the importance and sweetness of Gita Govinda
Gita Govinda then arranged to sing in the presence of King Jagannath.
The Postal Department of the Government of India issued a postage stamp on July 27, 2008.
The Lord has taken Jaydev.
We got Gita Govindam. ‘
