Tablet

Tablet has come a long way. It is only in the past six to ten months that budget tablets have begun to make sense. Budget tablets are essentially aimed at limited budget. It cannot replace your laptop to a certain extent. In terms of design, there are a lot of similarities between these tablets. The overall build quality is very good. For its price, the tablet has a surprisingly premium feel to it.

The connectivity options are however limited to Micro USB, charging port and mini HD-MI. The biggest downer is that the touch-screen is resistive and the device itself does not house the stylus, which is disappointing. The build of plastic on this one is really nice. It has a black matte finish with ports neatly laid out on one side. The build of the device is plastic and it houses all the ports apart from a full sized USB port.

It has a very nice form factor; similar to pair of twins that have made it is the first gen tablet that can be used for data s well as to make calls. These benchmarks give an objective score that judges the performances of the hardware under the hood of the device. Beyond benchmarks, how long it takes for tablets, doing the log-ins at the first start up and restarting the device again. Since the tablet is considered as a “lifestyle” device, there are multiple parameters, watching video, listening to music, email, so-on and so-forth, to see the life span of the battery.

However, the overall build quality feels sub par when compared to its nearest competitor. Although, the device does not have HD-MI out, it does support full USB port and has a good capacitate touch screen. Last but not the least, it has a resistive touch screen and does come with a stylus. Experience is not great.
