This is an unprecedented situation. We are facing pandemic situation. We are fighting with invisible enemies. We do not know where it might have been and where it could have been. We have to obey rules and regulations in order to have the peaceful mind. In this extraordinary situation there is huge surge of demand for medical diagnostics specialists. Most of routes to Puri town is now blocked completely.
Entire streets in and around VIP road is completely empty. There is no vehicle, no persons in and around Puri town. From time to time police vehicle moving here and there and by announcements intimating people to stay indoors. During that time life was very difficult as there were talks that the virus is in air and we need to go outside and even some people closed the doors windows and even skylights.
It seems that we are inside home always and all the family are in the house and for some hours markets are open and during those times we rushed to market to collect foods as well as emergency needs. It seemed that there is more than 24 hours a day as each and every moments seemed prolonged longer than usual. Even we cannot go for morning walk and for this we have to devise the alternative way of doing exercise.
We always go for morning walk and now we decided to walk at the balcony so that we can make up for morning exercise. During these times there are many times and seems that the first lock down was during summer times and staying indoors and that too in and around Puri town when there is humidity is above ninety percentages but there is fear to go outside and even for morning walks.
Ours office also closed as per government directives as well as work from home there but as it finds out to be work from home is very tiredsome than going to office and busy in works and for this it is many a times difficult to digest that such score and parameters of lock down and when will normalcy comes to the forefront is there any chance for us to returnto the state prior to that of pre Covid era, and this million dollar question is there in everyone’s mind.
Many people are happy that they are very well taking time to work from home, but my work from home became so much of boring as more works to be done and many a times working at home for me personally become very boring. Just before lock down daddy purchased electronic bicycle for me and it is intended to go to and fro to office which is four and half a kilometre from home. I was pretty much excited to ride on electronic vehicle through marine drive road and want to test how it performs in the road from Puri hotel to Chaitanya dquare but then government had to brought forward lock down due to prevailing circumstances and then office works had to be done from home
So during all of the durations of lock down I just watched the electronic vehicle staying at home and from time to time charging it and giving pump to it in order to safeguard cycle tubes. I waqs pretty excited to use it but sadly lockdown come up and everything comes to absolute standstill and even we cannot go outside by walking so let us not think about moving out with electronic vehicle. I always fond of speeding vehicle and with electronic vehicle at my disposal and that will be done with braning materials to take over ful road journey without even . With Hero Lectro C6i, we could see the price increases as while purchasing the price was 32000 and now after amost1 year of use its price now soar to almost 40000. This shows us how people are moving towards electronic vehicles and this goes on to show.
We were just looking at the windows and seeing the sunshine and sometimes rains and sometimes windy condition and sometimes young children are playing cricket inside streets and they continue to play in the evening till 11 pm or so. During those times the lock down time was from eight pm to morning 7 pm if I remember correctly. Just before lockdown time police vehicle will go towards Puri town and those sirens let us know that it is time for lock down. People tend to go indoors even they do not seat just outside yours home.
Suddenly one day patrolling team reached at the street and then scolded the persons who are playing cricket and warns them not to soplay games there and in this way street becomes once again silent and when the lock down begins everywhere there is full silent and entire town is full of no one moving here and there and the fear of virus moving outside continues to grow among ours thought processes.
The vegetable market nearer to VIP Square is one of the cheapest market and it has grown bigger as compared to Laxmi market of Puri. During lock down there is vegetable marketing protocol where vegetable owners tend to sear at a distance from one another and if they do not agree to it then strict action can be taken over them. There were dividers all over in the area and also marks till the point a person should stand at the safe distance from shopkeepers and there were marks too within distances where customers would stand from distance to distance and even parking of vehicles should be done at a distance not nearer to vegetable markets.
During lock down of Covid there were many safeguards and we Indians had been obeying these and the result is that we been able to defeat Covid-19 successfully. India fights back due to able leadership, vision and implementation of these visions for perfect realty.
