2019 Jagannath Puri Rath Yatra will commence from tomorrow that is 4th of July 2019 on Thursday. The entire preparation for this auspicious day is on. Prior to this bathing festival of Lord Jagannath and His brother and sister observed with much pump and galore.
The three holy chariot are almost completed. On July 3 rd I saw even clothes are entangled in one chariot and in other chariot the process is still on and expected to complete by tomorrow so that all three lords will goes out from temple with pahandi and then move to grand road and then chariots will run until reaches at Gundicha temple there.
All three chariots are standing in front of each other nearer to and in front of Lord Jagannath Temple Administration. People are taking a selfie in front of it and some people are touching the woods of these chariots and then touch it on their forehead as the respect.
Most of temporary shops are removed from that locality and now the grand road looks alike the wide road and tomorrow all the three chariots will run one by one from there. During this times Puri is filled with many visitors and the entire festive occasion comes with it and people enjoy the movement of Lords in chariots.
One sage sat on the grand road nd his body was filled with ashes and perhaps his hair was not cut for many years. Similarly, there are shop keepers from outside Odisha reach here selling selfie stick and others. I asked one for it and he said that it is 150 bucks but I feel it is on higher side so I moved ahead of him and loved to nearer to Patita paban.
After almost 14 days of ill health due to bathing of water Lord Jagannath and His brother and sister now moves from that sickness and provides first glance of Him which is known as Naba jouban besa and it was such an occasion the devotees feel by visiting that place again and see Lord then can remove all vices from their life.
That shopkeeper who was selling selfie sticks comes behind me and ask to purchase it for 100 as still that time he has not sold anything and or this I purchased selfie stick and then he showed me the demonstration of how to use it and what are the safety measures that need to be taken care of and so on and I bought that happily.
There are lots of law enforcing people such as state police, rapid action force are reaching Puri and in every square there are three to four police and police personnel standing there. It seems Puri town becomes one of secure zones and we all are ready to celebrate the most prestigious day of the year that is the commencement of 2019 Jagannath Puri Rath Yatra.
