In every age and society ladies are prone to physical and emotional abuse. If you are abused by your husband and partner here is what you can do: Say “no” to something you are uncomfortable with. If the person is noisy and lacking in restraint and discipline but can be reasoned out and well groomed, try it out. Leave the scene as soon as you can. Facing a stronger aggressor head on is not a great idea. Leave the house or run into another room and lock the door to give the other person time to cool down.
Slow him down by distracting him. If you need time to run away throwing something at him to slow him down. Distract him until you can make your escape.
If he has grabbed you: If he has get hold of you, knee him in the groin too that is at the junction of the inner part of the thigh with the trunk together with the adjacent region. Knee him in the groin, at least for a limited time only, incapacitate him. If you are in a wrist lock with the aggressor: If you are in a wrist lock with the aggressor , the assailant on top , a head butt against his nose , can give you the time to move in a twisting or contorted motion and leave the scene.
Biting , scratching and stabbing causing physical as well as psychological damage with the help of keys is not as efficient and effective , but can help get some space. Be careful with this practice as this could aggravate the situation if you are not able to escape. Once you have escaped lock into the room and lock it. Call for help. You can open a window and shout; “Fire!” it is sure to attract the attention. If you have chance then run out of the house into the main road and it is for sure the aggressor will think twice before following you in the open.
Get evidence: If your abuser knows you are keeping quiet, he may do it more often. Be always aggressively self assured and when he sees you mean business, he is likely to back down. Get protection: You can approach a protection officer within the jurisdiction of your home. You can directly approach the court but you need a lawyer as physical abuse in any form is grounds for divorce
