I use Xioami 7A mobile for tethering and hotspot purposes. Recently, its battery swells and it needs to be replaced. Nearby, at Red Cross Square Xiaomi sales and service centre took my Redmi 7A mobile and it is hardly one year old. It has two years warranty but on battery it has six months of warranty so I have to buy the battery once again. I purchased it from online but sadly within a year of use its battery got out of order.
Xioami phone’s battery is out of order and it needs replacement:
The reception told me that it will cost for about 1400 Indian Rupees and when I took back phone it costs 1350 Indian Rupees. The Xioami centre gives me the proper receipt. I took home the phone and then recharge it for fully on hundred percentages. Then, I switched on internet connection and it says it requires an update and it is about nearly 300 MB and I update and use the phone and then after one day it says that it has one more update and it will update phone to MIUI for its 12 th global version. Earlier it was MIUI 11.
The MIUI 12 update:
It is of 1.7 GB and I downloaded it at the morning time when the speed of internet is on higher side. Within 30 minutes my Airtel 4G connections 1.7GB of download which is in fact slightly higher than it and then it becomes decrypted automatically after full download. Then, it asked me whether I want to install it and then I ok it and then it begin to install on its own and then after full install the colourful MIUI logo was there for some time at the boot settings. During the entire process I kept my phone connected to electricity so that at any point of time the battery indicator of phone remains on the higher side so that there would be no lesser of electric charges for the phone.
What are new features of MIUI 12 global update?
Then after some time phone reached to its dashboard and then I investigate about newer features that this update can perform. There are some very interesting updates those are worth mention in this article.
The Whole new Control Centre:
When you slide from top to middle into the phone the first change is that now the notification windows is separated and it becomes two one is regular notification window and the other one is control centre and it comes from the right side top and the older notification centre comes on the left side slide down and in this new control centre you will find Apple phone like latest control centre which provides ample opportunities for a greater visual presentations and all of these notification icons works nicely and those have greater visual output and it provides one of premium smart phone feelings at least for some time while using your phone.
Control Centre comes up with slightly greyish background with whiter icons that makes the visibilities aspect of phone excellent. If you want to disable the new Control Centre and wants to have older notifications shade then you can also go for it by following these settings.
- Open Settings
- Go to Display
- Go to Status bar
- Enable or disable new control centre
You are done and now you can reach towards the older status bar and if you want to have the newer look then you can enable it just by following these settings.
Default wallpaper changed:
When the MIUI 12 installation completed successful the first change I notice is the change of default bluish wallpaper into one of red soiled wallpaper of Mars but no live Mars wallpaper and I still try to find the ways to make it on my phone and if I find the way out then for sure I should showcase this on my blog here and if you know then kindly provide me details or link so that I can follow it. The wallpaper looks good but one wallpaper so I am finding the ways to find out newer ways for the installation of additional wallpapers in these similar categories. If I know the whereabouts then I will for sure let you know about it.
Xiaomi applications do provide animated display when we close the app:
What I find the most interesting is that the presence nicely animated display if you use the default theme. Here, default theme is that of classic theme, and when suppose I open the gallery app of it and then after seeing the screenshots I closed it and then the gallery closes and provides one of animated icons within its icon status and this way I find all of these animations worth look at it provides one of visual coolness to it and provides one of more and more outstanding provision of worth looking and it is one of cool witnessing of visual outlook.
Dynamic Dark mode:
It has dynamic dark mode and it is better and most comprehensive in all its sphere and it works with applications way better and the way dark mode works as it provides more and stunning dark mode in its dynamic style. In its auto brightness setting it has one of newer sunlight mode which means it provides more visual presentations and it provides more light in the case there is dimness in the phone in front of direct sunlight. In the brightness level now you have two option one is that of automatic brightness and the second is one that of sunlight mode and both of these cannot work simultaneously and if you want ambient display then go for sunlight mode or you can go for automatic brightness functionalities.
A new special feature known as Lite Mode:
It is a new addition and worth addition as it provides everything in its bigger sizes and all the not so necessary animations and other distractions are removed and it provides faster and lighter ways to work with android so that you can manage everything all in its single function. After enabling the lite mode you can swap on the right to have the favourite phone numbers all there and so that you will not have to search in the contact app of yours nearest phone numbers. In one sentence the new Lite mode is that of bigger icons, larger texts and less visual clutter.
Ultra Battery Saver Mode:
It has one newer feature which is known as ultra battery saver mode in which it stops all animations and visual extravaganza and make your phone work with fewer processes and apps and this makes draining of batteries on lesser notes. This feature is inspired by ultra battery saver mode of Samsung mobiles.
Weather App:
Weather app is revamped and if you allow its location for all the time then on opening of weather app you will find the real weather in its background such as if it is raining then you will find the raining out there and if snow fall the same you can find it here.
