Identity Card to be issued to Sevayata of Lord Jagannath Temple of Puri

Puri is famous for high tide sea-beach and world-famous Lord Jagannath Temple. There are many sevayatas inside temple and in modern times due to security reasons police forces from outside has been deployed in order to secure area in and outside Lord Jagannath Temple. Most of them could not recognize sevayatas and some times outside people in the guise of sevayatas intrude into temple and for this issuance of identity cards to sevayata is a welcome step and way forward.

In order to have eligibility for identity card the person must be from sevayata family and these identity cards to be issued on the behalf of nijogs of sevayatas. There are in total 36 nijogs in jagannath temple of puri and probably it is to be issued to male persons and am not sure but along with male sevayats the female sevayata to be allowed inside premises of Puri temple.

Most of times apart from pallia sevayatas there are occasions when other sevayatas who are engaged in other professions and they come to temple during holidays but recognizing them becomes difficult due to most of outside police as well as some of the younger police of temple not able to recognize them and then begins the process of confusions and arguments and in this way issuance of identity cards from nijog itself then proper recognition of persons from nijog itself make the entire process nice and proper.

What it makes most worth program that the responsibility comes up with issuance from nijog as they ultimately recognize people out from them, and this makes the process entirely authentic. It should have been done way before as this is a much needed program as most of times the confusion and argument comes from not recognizing the original sevayatas by police either from state and from temple and this is the much needed process to recognize them and makes the entire process smoother and well established way to create the entire process smother and create the congenital atmosphere during every day and during car festival too.

Promoting and safeguarding odia language

In the past Odia literatures and daily, weekly and monthly magazines had contributed immensely to the development and safeguard of Odia language. With the development of journals there came the real development of Odia essay writings and literature. With it the real Odia tradition was recognised and fully renowned and discussed. With it came the development of Odia life style and now it is still continuing. It was necessary as fro 1836 , there was a conspiracy to wipe out Odia languages fully and it was pretty eminent when Krantichandra Bhattacharya announce in 1870 in one of his writings that Odia is not a language.

It enrages the Odia persons and then the fearless journalist the great Gouri Shankara Ray in Utkal dipika , fifth edition on 09/29.1879 , opposed vehemently to the words of Krantichandra Bhttacharya , if the orginial words of Odia language would be heard by Krantichandra Bhttacharya then he would not have spelled such things. He would have gone the wrong way deliberately or with some purpose, said by the great Gouri Shankara Ray in his article. Odia and the other languages are different and it is eminent form the writings as the Odia writing part is vast different from the Bengali part as the former is influenced by the hindi language writings script but the Odia language is completely separate and its dialect are also vastly unique.

This seems tha Krantichandra Bhttacharya has deliberately offended then the Odia language which was realy not necessary. If he would have live to day he would have realised that how big a mistake he had done by doing this. In 1868 BYaskabi Fakir Mohan Senapati on August fourth of this mentioned year published Sambad Bahika , which is more nationalistic and more oriented towards developing and keeping the Odia language to its fullest scale It had been praised for safeguarding the interests of Odia language and its roles should be remembered till the last of the Odia persons lived in this world.

Then from Deogarh with the patronage of Sir Sumakdev published Sambalpur Hitainsinni , a weekly journal first published on 1889 May 30 and it had done tremendous work to preserve and attain their Odia language to remain free from the clutching eyes of the neighbors then. He stresses on publishing the Odia study materials in schools and colleges. At those time when at the court hindi was the official language, then the Sambalpur Hitainsinni opposes and want it to be Odia. With this the separated land became united and slowly with due course to unite all the Odisha land had been gaining momentum and this has been populated and done in the 1936 first April which united all the Odisha land and the Odia language is now becoming the reality.

The British ruler Andrew Fraser realised this and commented in favour of Odia people. In fact it was only in Odia where the British have supported for the strong safe guard of Odia languages and it was vehemently opposed by then educated Bengali who want to hijack the rich cultural heritages of Odisha by deleting this languages all by itself with very parochial attitudes. The British announced the mother language of anyone should not be denounced such and it should not be removed from the native persons.

Those languages are foreign to the natives should not be laoded with them and these words supported the movement to save Odia language and in the long run it had very pulsating effects in removing the opposition form the neighbours. On 1872 Utkal Darpan published from Balasore, it had reflected many modern thinking and imparted a flurry of modern languages to this very vibrant language of India named as Odia. The modern pillars of Odial language writers such as Radhanath Ray, Fakir Mohan Senapati, Madhusudhan Rao published vibrant and beautiful writings .

It was patronage and supported by King Bainkutha anth. Radhanath and Fakirmohan digged the proud cultural and courageous heritages of Odisha and wrote wonderful articles on these. During those time the oppose to Odia language , some Benagli persons trying to discourage him through various carrot and stick methods but he continues to support this magazine relentelessly to pronounce the greatness of Oida languages. Utkal Sahitya published on 1897 editored by Biswhnath Kar. In 1915 Utkal manni Gopabandhu patronised Satybadi and it stresses on the strength of Odia languages. It suggests refined Odia language to use on day to day basis.

This magazine put the final nail on the coffin of the conspirators from neighbours who tried relentlessly shamelessly to destroy the great Odia language, but now it has been going strength to strength. Samaj published 1919 October fourth and it is live today and generously publishing and pronouncing the life of Odia languages. In 1876 Swadeshi published by William Mohanty to strenghtify Odia languages. For the first time in 1893 the then Mandraz University is now the Madras University introduced the first curriculum in Odia.

In 1890 it was first proposed to make the Odia language as the official language. Other prominent Odia publication were Gyanarunna in 1849 , probodha cahndrika in 1896, Arunnodoya in 1868 , Utkal Madhupa in 1878 , Sikhay bandhu 1886 , Deepak in 1889 , Indradhanu in 1893 , Bijulli 1893 and many many high quality Odia journal weekly , monthly attracted and justifies the great ness of Odia language and their effort in attaining it to the top notch position as we are her today is most desirable and laudable.

The Etiquette of employees of Big Bazaar of Puri is far from satisfaction

Yesterday was auspicious day of Lord Ganesha’s birthday and it was being celebrated in Puri of Odisha with pump and valour. Within some shorter distances you will find Idols of Lord Ganesha with highly tall structures provides one of much satisfied level when I move to see Lord from place to place. I decided to go to one kirana shop nearer to Gundicha Temple and that was a famous whole seller shop and it will also provide the retailer to individual shopper like us.

I bought besana and then corn floor and then coffee sachets which it provides two rupees less. By buying 12 coffee sachets of two rupees each that should have been 24 rupee my es but it costs 22 rupees as during day and night time we do drink coffee as per latest revelations coffee is good for insulin and that is why parents prefer to have coffee instead of tea now. I found after implementation of newer and stricter traffic rules vehicles in and around Puri town has been driving with care and with slow speed and that is why moving in and around Gundicha temple is now easier than earlier occasions.

It was already nearer to two o clock and there are some items to be bought from Big Bazar and I decided to go there during noon time in order to avoid heavy rush of traffic nearer environment of cash counter. First I kept my two wheeler in and around nearer to garage and the security person was expression in not satisfied with his job as he was shouting at bicyclers and it was evident that he was not enjoying his job at all and even in this time of holiday his dissatisfaction is going overboard.

Daddy and mummy at Big Bazar of Puri

Unnecessarily he was showing his aggression towards bikers and those were at the teen and they just keep their mouth shut otherwise there would have been the situation of chaos in and there around that area. He was shouting that it was not his duty to watch bicycles but in reality it was not as he was appointed to safeguard both bike and manual bicycles. So, it is important for authorities to see how these security guards behave towards customers.

Then, I each towards second floor and there I have to bought some groceries out there. At the loose grocery segment, the lady was in constant talk with another her colleague and after asking for three times for three kilogram of sugar she finally responded and gave it to me. I suppose these workers are there to respond to customers within seconds as every seconds of customers are of high values but instead they were talking each other ignoring customer altogether and then when I ask them where is fried vermicelli, they show me that it was there but despite searching for three times I could not find that then when I asked them again then they told that it was finished for time being.

If that was so they they should have told me earlier not after sending me to search for three times in and around that areas. I think management of Big Bazar must look at all of these developments as their paid employees must date themselves each other outside and after working hours not inside their organization and even ignoring customers. That was really shocking to me for fried vermicelli I have to bought it for one kilogram they told me to search it for three times and then at last said that it was finished.

This was one of worst customer satisfaction I had seen and experience even after so many authorities and managers that are inside Big Bazar but still all are not well managed. Then, I reach for cash counter and to my utter surprise in and around four cash counters at the second floor no one is there at any of cash counter and when I asked for to one cash counter specialist was talking with other and he hesitantly came to it as if she was providing some sort of unwanted to provide billing.

In the auspicious occasions my worst experience at Big Bazaar Puri and it provides one of most undeniably worst experience beginning from security of garage and then workers at the loose grocery area second floor and then at the cash counter one of unhesitatingly the most difficult time but thankfully I kept my cool throughout this journey of shopping at Big Bazar at Puri, Odisha.

Beyond the Legal Boundaries of Public Land

No one can predict the climate and in this world as we are living today, at some places there has been show case of very avid and strong change of climate and at some other places we do find more and more cooler and complete change of climate what it has been there before few years back. In this august Sunday morning as I woke up early to go for a brisk walking all around the city and into the sea beaches to experience the real beauty f nature as well a to have the most clean air in the morning time so that I could feel at light at heart with it.

In the mid time, I move towards the so called VIP road where the road is being precisely cut short through the presence of encroachment of people where during each and every place we could see persons are being encroached and new and newer shops are being created out of it. This is the principal road to connect to capital and towards moving at the sea beach and for this there has been more and more interstate vehicles roaming here and there and most of them unaware of the situation in its place tends to move the vehicle at high speeds.

What the authorities should ensure is to replace these encroached arenas and make the road wider so that it should be easier for people and pedestrians as well as cyclists to move these way in much more comfort as from time to time more and more vehicles used to come here and most of these are inter-state vehicles and they have little ideas about local conditions.

In the meantime, at the entry of this VIP road of Puri, the Vishal Mega Mart is there and it is a tall building and god known who have permitted this considering the fact that these route is to be used by most of very important personality while moving to Governor’s house of Puri and most of them probably at times Z plus security and while they move through these roads and here is one building at the entry of Vishal Mega Mart which is probably taller that requisite permissible limits and o that so how come this has been constructed.

This four-storied building just opposite to Punjab National Bank is of one of private person and continue to be stay at a deserted land for years and then suddenly in what so ever circumstances it then began to clean that place and build the four-storied building which is at greater height and must not be there in public places where people live there. Such a tall building at the side of the national highway just not be imaginable considering that this road is enrolls to Governor’s house of Puri.

In the mean time the road has been shortened and the traffic comes at the side of it make it shorter and the people dwelling out there, feel the crunch of the situation and that makes living out there impossible for most of us and for this it is indeed one of the most difficult living considering the height of the building that has been made ignoring all such rules and regulations.

Apart from this in and around Salbega Lane of Puri, after evening and most of time, many anti-social people gathered till the night nearer to this four-storied building, people makes noise and disturbs the peace loving people. It seems there has been support of some people or at least influential ones out there. Then, when you walk across this road in the morning, there most of municipal people having cleaning the road and they are doing some of the most important works considering the amount of unwanted tiffin vendors in and around sides of the road making the place difficult to walk in these high-traffic zones.

In actual still the point of Subhash Bose square there has been entire stretch of road that needs to be one way traffic but the size of the road is such that it has to be made or half sized to make it half and that makes the walking of the pedestrians extremely difficult in these zones. Then considering the width of the road for the movement of so many three wheelers such as auto rickshaws makes the journey of the people to move here and there difficult. If you look at these batch of three wheelers, most of them are without proper registration boards and how come these vehicles and especially these are commercial vehicles are allowed in these roads without proper registrations.

In the side o the roads which are meant for pedestrians to walk in and out and out there we could see the presence of unauthorized vegetable vendors out there and that makes the walking or running in this morning difficult. One needs to be careful while walking towards watching the vehicles crossing and running here and there and most of times without any traffic rules and then on the side of it there can be municipal persons sweeping the roads and thus making the artificial dust storm and one needs to cover the mouth and nose in order to stay out of these air dusts.

One needs to be extra careful of these and the good thing is that after crossing Subhash Bose square, we tend to reach towards the most convenient part where there is a foot path for pedestrians and we tend to move between these places without any such difficulties. The footpaths are nice and one could easily walk through this and for this it is important to move between these paths with due care as well as one could avoid the traffic jam out there.

Then, you reach at the sea beach though in between you could reach nearer to some shops which are covered at the roads and this make walking across these roads extremely difficult and one need to be extremely cautious while crossing these roads. Though in between marine drive roads and on its footpath the tourists covered these places and one needs to be extremely slower while walking these routes as well as there are many hotel agents roaming here and there with motor cycles and asking the passengers and tourists passersby about room availability.

So, while walking there is hardly any space to more here and there comfortably due to presence of large number of such vendors who tried to get out some money by luring visitors to stay into nearby hotels and in this manner entire road has become one of joke standards for all of us. Though journey towards these routes has been full of adventures or so called adventures where I have to time and again equipped with many hurdles and obstacles and in the process after reaching at the sea beach the beauty of it makes me feel happier and wonderful and no doubt some very rare glimpses of flowing of sun inside of the sea water and the touching towards horizon has never ever been so wonderfully beautiful as ever.

As we learn from Bhagbat Gita that all that well that ends well and in the meantime I could see the presence of sea and in the sands slowly it is been overtaken by some of unauthorized vendors and continue to obstruct towards moving of sea but still I could find the solace at the sight of sands and the dazzling sea in between. The glow and the presence of seemingly peaceful environment make me remember the presence of Goddess Laxmi and the tranquility I found there is still unbelievable and cannot be written in words.

2019 Jagannath Puri Rath Yatra

2019 Jagannath Puri Rath Yatra will commence from tomorrow that is 4th of July 2019 on Thursday. The entire preparation for this auspicious day is on. Prior to this bathing festival of Lord Jagannath and His brother and sister observed with much pump and galore.

The three holy chariot are almost completed. On July 3 rd I saw even clothes are entangled in one chariot and in other chariot the process is still on and expected to complete by tomorrow so that all three lords will goes out from temple with pahandi and then move to grand road and then chariots will run until reaches at Gundicha temple there.

All three chariots are standing in front of each other nearer to and in front of Lord Jagannath Temple Administration. People are taking a selfie in front of it and some people are touching the woods of these chariots and then touch it on their forehead as the respect.

Most of temporary shops are removed from that locality and now the grand road looks alike the wide road and tomorrow all the three chariots will run one by one from there. During this times Puri is filled with many visitors and the entire festive occasion comes with it and people enjoy the movement of Lords in chariots.

One sage sat on the grand road nd his body was filled with ashes and perhaps his hair was not cut for many years. Similarly, there are shop keepers from outside Odisha reach here selling selfie stick and others. I asked one for it and he said that it is 150 bucks but I feel it is on higher side so I moved ahead of him and loved to nearer to Patita paban.

After almost 14 days of ill health due to bathing of water Lord Jagannath and His brother and sister now moves from that sickness and provides first glance of Him which is known as Naba jouban besa and it was such an occasion the devotees feel by visiting that place again and see Lord then can remove all vices from their life.

That shopkeeper who was selling selfie sticks comes behind me and ask to purchase it for 100 as still that time he has not sold anything and or this I purchased selfie stick and then he showed me the demonstration of how to use it and what are the safety measures that need to be taken care of and so on and I bought that happily.

There are lots of law enforcing people such as state police, rapid action force are reaching Puri and in every square there are three to four police and police personnel standing there. It seems Puri town becomes one of secure zones and we all are ready to celebrate the most prestigious day of the year that is the commencement of 2019 Jagannath Puri Rath Yatra.
