Converting the Online Stopwatch as a Desktop Application Through Google Chrome “Create application shortcuts”
While doing my MBA I realized that I desperately needed a stop watch for various purposes like presentations, preparation of presentations, interview mock test and also on various projects where time is absolute paramount.
One website( ) is there which can give such feature, but I cannot stay online forever so I got an way to devise it to make it use offline.
Now-a-days am swapping with two beautiful but completely different from each other browser such as Opera and Google Chrome.
But in order to create this one has to install Google Chrome Browser () installed as through it one has to create “Create application shortcuts” feature to launch the website in a window all by itself, making it show as the Desktop application.
Steps:
- connect to internet
- open google chrome browser
- browse over to http://www.online-stopwatch.com/large-stopwatch/
- then create application shortcut from the menu of Google chrome.see below in picture to know more.
- one will get a choice to hwere to save and then save at yours chices place like quick launch or at the desk top etc.
- now close the google chrome browser
- and then double click to open that short cut to have full featured stop wa tch
- voila and tons of possibilities and experimentation can be done on google chrome and go do it and
